NICE WORDS FROM LOVELY PEOPLE
“Ewan is quite simply fantastic. He has a brilliant blend of creative style and straightforward logic. He gets to grips with footage quickly, no matter how much there is, and grasps what is needed to tell a story concisely and compellingly, whether it’s a pacey sizzle reel or long-form documentary. He is great at finding visually interesting style elements and music to give it extra polish. And above all else, he brings boundless energy to the room and to every project that makes you want to work with him again and again. He is collaborative, caring, and a huge asset to any team. A real class act.”
“Ewan’s list of factual credits speaks for itself. With a great ear for dialogue and a strong instinct for how to use the edit as an instrument to add value, he’s a boost for any show he’s working on. He has an unwavering drive to showcase working class Scottish talent. Adept at identifying promising new names in production, post or on-screen and following through with jobs or recommendations to execs, Ewan is a one-man industry connector taking on the role of several screen agencies at once. We were delighted to work with him and look forward to seeing what comes next for this editor-cum-producer in his burgeoning career.”
