ABOUT

Ewan Denny is a multi-award-winning neurodivergent film and television editor and producer with a background in television development and 15 years of broadcast experience. He is an acclaimed film editor and founder of Glasgow-based indie Belter Studios. He is part of the BBC Comedy Collective 2026 and was selected as one of Broadcast Magazine’s Hot Shots 2024.

In the edit, Ewan is known for his attention to detail, fast cutting pace and exceptional eye for driving narrative across scripted and unscripted film and television. His creative cutting style has contributed to projects recognised by industry bodies including BAFTA and the Royal Television Society. He prides himself on creating story-driven narratives and attention-grabbing work, with a particular skill for bringing scenes to life. Combined with his love of collaboration, this makes him a valuable addition to any production.

Throughout his career, Ewan has developed, pitched, produced and edited for a wide range of major independent production companies, broadcasters and film producers in the UK and beyond. From editing hard-hitting feature documentaries to developing and producing vehicles for emerging comedy talent, he dedicates himself fully to every project.

His credits include Lockerbie: Our Story, The Tattooist’s Son: Journey to Auschwitz, Body on the Beach: What Happened to Annie?, Boris Becker: The Rise and Fall, Stacey Dooley Investigates, Chris McQueer’s HINGS and Insane Fight Club.
